Hi all, Is a score of 307 too low for funding consideration and/or admission? I am not great at standardized tests which is why I am debating retaking it. 5.5 Writing 153 Q 154 V My undergraduate GPA is 3.33 (3.60 in my major). Schools I am applying to: Michigan (Ford), Duke (Sanford), and Chicago (Harris). Thank you.

I need some help! I am attempting to get into Nurse anesthesia school and need a verbal GRE score of 150. The first time I took the GRE, I barely studied for the verbal portion because I focused mainly on the math and the essays (I scored a 145 on the verbal). I then schedule to retake my verbal GRE and had used Magoosh (practice questions and vocabulary flashcards) to study. I also had taken at least 6 verbal exam practice tests, on which I scored anywhere from 136-150 (I used Manhattan prep, Kaplan, Princeton, and powerprep exams). I sat down to retake my GRE and scored a 145 again! The school wants me to continue retaking the verbal portion until I get a 150 on it, and I have no idea how to study anymore. English is not my first language, but this has never been an issue for me in school. Has anyone else had the same issue, if so how did you study to improve your score? Thank you for your help!

Hi,Thanks for this wonderful forum and great people who visit it!I recently took the GMAT but did not do too well on it. I did well on the Verbal section, but Math has always been difficult for me. I am trying to take the GRE, as I find that it fits my style of learning (information covered, topics) better. What recommendations do you guys have for improving GRE Quantitative Section? I am hoping to pursue an MBA and get into a Business School.Regards,GRE Student

I'm planning on taking the GRE in about three weeks but Im panicking a bit. I'm a foreign student (foreign to the US) and haven't had to take an exam thats in the same format as the GRE before. I'm currently doing a masters and work when I'm not studying so I've found it hard to find the time to study. Can anyone give me any tips or advice on how to study for the exam or what to expect? I'm getting quite desperate at this point lol.

I'm planning on taking the GRE sometime towards the end of November, however I have one big problem, I don't know much about it lol. I'm an Irish student looking to apply to graduate programs in America, however the GRE isn't a widely taken test over here so its quite hard to get information and tips about it from people. If anyone could give me any advice from which books to get/online resources, to a plan/structure on how to study for it I would greatly appreciate it. I'm looking to apply to television production type courses in Boston University, Syracuse and possibly a few other so any relevant info would be such a big help thanks.
