  1. Hello, I have a question that may be too specific but hopefully someone out there has some relevant experience/advice. I am trying to decide what to do as a literature student who would like to eventually complete a PhD in linguistics. Right now I am mostly looking into masters programs as it seems that it would greatly help me to complete a masters before even trying to apply to a PhD, but if someone has a suggestion of a PhD program that requires little background in linguistics, I'm game. Here are my studies so far : B.A. English and French literature at a small liberal art
  2. hello, not sure if a lot of you guys are familiar with Sciences-po but it's quite big in IR/Development/Political science. I got accepted in the international development(ma) and was wondering if there was anyone else. one thing to mention is that i'm not sure if i'll accept the offer because i'm interested in educational development and it seems that Sciences-po doesn't have a lot of courses in education.. seriously considering if i have to apply for the 2018-2019 term for American GSEs (+European schools too such as Oxbridge GSEs specializing in education

  5. Hello everyone, these days I have a problem. I am a 5 years PhD student. Now I am in second year. I am a self-paying student. Before involving in this PhD, I have limited knowledge about this research field (it is Cross-disciplinary research ). And now I really think that I am not interested in this research field. So I want to change to another supervisor in another university in Paris. In France, second year of 5 years PhD is the end of Master. And up to now, my main task is concentrating on courses study. Now i have two choices: 1- Talking to current advisor and telling him that I wan
