Hello everyone, I thought I would start a forum for people to ask and answer questions regarding the MIRHR graduate program at The University of Toronto for 2018. Good luck to everyone who is applying!

I am wondering will a school frown down upon a 303 GRE score. I studied for a few months and the first time I took it I scored 300, 146 quant and 154 verbal with a 4.0 writing. I waited 21-days and retook again, scoring a total of 303, 148 quant, 155 verbal and I am still waiting on my writing score. I have my Master's in Industrial/Organizational Pyschology and I have three years of research experience. Please advise!

Hi guys, I see that HR is not too popular of a topic on here but I really hope someone can assist to provide me their two cents on what you would choose in my situation. I applied to some of the top schools for masters of human resources/labor relations (Cornell, MSU, Minnesota, UIUC, OSU) and was luckily offered admissions. Hey everyone, I'm a Canadian student who has recently been accepted to the LSE for a MSc in Human Resources. I've heard this is a quite prestigious university in Europe, but not so well known in North America. Am I crazy to pass up the this chance to go to the University of Toronto instead? LSE would cost me about $60,000 vs. U of T $30,000 (including living expenses). Also, as the UK has made getting work visas more difficult, I'm worried that I won't be able to stay in the UK to work after and my degree won't be as recognized when back in Canada. Anybody have any advice or experien

Hello, I've been accepted into both the Masters of Industrial Relations at Queen's University and the Masters of Industrial Relations and Human Resources at the University of Toronto. Does anyone have any experience with these programs? I was originally leaning towards U of T because it's a more recognized school (especially internationally) and I like the fact that you can specialize in both industrial relations and HR. However, the program is twice as long (it is 2 years versus 1 at Queen's). Doing the Masters at U of T will also mean that I will have to pay at least twice as much a
