  1. Hi everyone, I am applying for the MHI program UofT and Waterloo for the Fall 2019 intake. Wondering who else has applied for these and whether your applications are submitted?
  2. Hi! I've sent the documents to TUM by a courier company knowing that they would arrive faster. However I was contacted today that there has been some delays and my documents will reach TUM's admissions office on Monday. The deadline is today and there is no way I can get now on a plane and submit the documents in person. Has anybody been in this situation? Am I completely screwed and have to apply the nest period for the summer semester?
  3. Hi! Just want to start a thread for HCI PhD applications this year! Maybe we can discuss about programs/interviews/results and anxieties here? Who also applied for PhD in HCI this year? What is your area of interest? I noticed some people already got interviews for CS PhDs... Maybe the only thing we can do for now is to stop checking mailbox and relax and focus more on our work at hand??
  4. Hey everyone, I've looked online and on this forum, but have found very little describing the experiences of the PhD program in Biomedical Informatics and Medical Education at University of Washington. Is there anyone that has applied to this program, how well known is it/are the faculty in this department, or any other details about the program as a whole? I have looked at the course curriculum, and am interested in many of the courses, but am worried that I won't get the core CS backing that I'd likely need to work in the field. I am a computer science major thus far, but have done most of my work in BMI. Please let me know what your experiences were like. Thanks!
  5. Hello, Anyone apply to the Master of Health Informatic program at the University of Toronto or the Master of Science in eHealth program at McMaster University for the Fall 2016 semester. If so, feel free to share your statistics. Please also indicate any communication you have received from the institutions including request for interviews, acceptances, and rejections. I personally applied to both programs with a 3.35 cumulative GPA and 3.7 in my final two years with two years of work experience. My first choice will be UFT. Good luck everyone!
  6. Hello All, I have my telephonic interview round scheduled for MS Informatics this weekend. Kindly help as how to prepare for it. Thanks in advance.
  7. Has anyone applied to the MSc Informatics programme at TUM for 2016 winter semester admission? A bit about myself: I am a prospective student to the mentioned program and I am currently doing my final year at UCL majoring in Computer Science.
  8. Hi guys I applied to TU Munich MS Informatics Winter Semester 2017. I sent out my documents, which were received and all was well except for my transcript. In my TUMOnline application, I have stated my normal duration of studies as 8 semester, but since I was a transferred student to the university where I received my bachelors degree my transcript only shows 6 semesters (the rest are in tranferred credits block). They rejected my transcript because it doesn't reflect the 8 semester count mentioned in my TUMOnline application. What can I do about this? Please help.
