Hi everyone, I am going to pursue a master degree in the UI/UX field. Now I have got the following admissions recently, and both are STEM programs: NYU- Interactive Telecommunications Program(ITP) , waiting for scholarship Pratt- Information Experience Design (IxD), w/ scholarship I was major in logistics management that is not related to art or design when I was undergraduate. And I had some work experiences as a marketer in recent years. Now, my career plan is to become a UI/UX designer. However, a friend of mine, studying at NYU-ITP now, told me that ITP does not focus on UX even though it is a well-known school. Question: Does anyone have any advice on choosing the program? Which program is more competitive in the UI/UX field in the U.S.? Which program has more opportunities to find an internship? Thank you for your kind support! 💗

Hi, I got into both graduate programs and I'm not sure which one to choose. I'm from South Korea so moving to either US or UK is equally adventurous for me. NYU ITP offers MPS degree whereas RCA GID offers double masters degree. (MA from RCA and MSc from Imperial College London) And both programs will result in similar cost. Which one do you think would be a better choice?

I've been admitted to both ITP ($10K/y scholarship) and IDM (no scholarship) at NYU. As far as I researched, ITP's tuition costs almost twice as much as IDM's. I heard the two programs are very similar in what they teach and students can take classes interchangeably and they even share the same building and classrooms. When applying, ITP was my first choice mainly because it is more recognized and has a larger network of alumni but I'm not sure if these factors would outweigh the tuition difference. Which one should I choose? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've been accepted to the Royal College of Art's IED program and NYU ITP. I'm at a little bit of a toss up between the two — the programs are similar in many ways and different in others. Any insight, advice, or suggestions about the schools and programs would be much appreciated!

Hey, I right now have admits for University of Maryland, College Park for ENTS program and from University of Colorado, Boulder for ITP program. I'm confused between the two. I have some really good reviews about both these schools and am not able to decide between the two. Can someone please help me out with this decision? Thanks a lot!!

Hello, I have got accepted in the ITP program in the Tisch College of Arts for Fall 2016. I just received the news this morning and haven't heard anything about Financial aid. I know it might be little too early to jump to conclusions but I was concerned about the enormously high tuition fees and cost of living in NYC in case I receive no funding. I was wondering if anyone will be able to tell me, which is a better college to look at, CIID ( i.e Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design) or Tisch? CIID is way cheaper and is also just a one year course, Tisch however would require a huge funding help. Is it worth all the trouble? What is the work scene like for someone who graduates from a European college and wants to look for a job in the US?
