So I got accepted into Upenn's Master's of Liberal Arts program as well as Dartmouth's Master's of Liberal Studies. Has anyone heard of these (M.L.A/M.L.S) degrees? Are these degrees employer friendly? I applied to these degree programs because of the chance to write a thesis since I want to do research on government--more specifically politically economy. I am not sure if I should enroll in one of the previously mentioned (M.L.A/M.L.S) programs or if I should just get my Master's in government at Johns Hopkins AAP program (which I also got into). Not sure which to choose? I just don't want to

An email was sent to me from PennDesign admissions congratulating me on being shortlisted for placement in their MLA program and asked me to complete a 5 question/5 minute video supplement. Has anyone else seen this yet? Not sure if it's good, bad or if everyone at this stage of the application process is asked to do this. Any insight would be helpful.
