Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has gotten into Baylor's Masters Online SLP Program and how competitive is it. I just did an informational webinar for prospective students. I live in Dallas, TX so I know that the tuition will not be too much but still expensive. I currently go to Texas Woman's University majoring in Health Studies. I was going for Occupational Therapy but I have more of a love for Speech-Language Pathology. Also, could you provide your stats? I'm trying to see if I have a change. Thanks!
Hello, This is addressed to current and past students who have attended AND completed Eastern New Mexico's Masters of Communication Disorder's hybrid-program. If you have the same or similar questions please do not re-post question. If you have a different question addressed to this group feel free to add. Questions: What circumstances impacted your decision to attending ENMU? (i.e. family, affordability, distance, etc) How responsive are the faculty and the professors? If you had difficulty reaching them, what resources did you turn to? What was the most challenging aspect of the first semester? What were your thoughts on your practicum placements? If you were required to relocate, how far did you move? How do tests and finals work out? If you graduated, how prepared were you for your CF year and or your career as an SLP? Any other comments you may have on the program
My stats: BS in SLP, M.Ed. Moderate/Severe Disabilities w/ 3.9 GPA for Masters Applying to SLP Grad School for the billionth time. I have had 3 kids in 5 years, so I took some time off, but I am now applying to NOVA's online program; an option I didn't have in years prior. (Or wasn't aware of!) Applied for WINTER 2018; Applications due 8/31 To all who may have previously applied, I have a few questions: Any idea of when admission decisions are sent out? or Interviews scheduled? Any stats on applications vs accepted students? Any further info would be much appreciated! Thanks All!
