  1. Curious to see if there are any other Lewis & Clark Marriage & Family Therapy applicants on here who have heard back. I was just offered an interview yesterday! I'm not sure what to expect. Anyone know how group interviews generally work in such a program?
  2. Hello! I’ve been accepted to a Master in French at the University of Oregon, at the University of Arizona and at the University of New Mexico; but I have no idea on which offer to accept. Does anyone know anything about those universities and their master degrees? HELP
  3. Anybody joining OSU this fall?
  4. Post your current status and any questions or comments here! Interview dates on 1/27, 2/17. 3/11 My interview was on 1/27 and I am currently on committee hold.
  5. I got put on the waiting list for Pacific U's SLP masters program. Anyone else? I'm curious how many there are. Also, they said they don't disclose wait list positions which makes it harder to know if I should wait it out or not. Anyone else have this concern?
  6. How do you choose between schools when you're a good fit at both but in different ways, one is a smidgen more name-brand-y, the other seems a smidgen more collegial, one has a lot of top-notch university resources for professionalization, the other where the department itself seems to have more focus on professionalization, one that has well-known recommenders while the other has (apparently) more involved mentors, one that has no core courses because you're free to build your degree, while the other has core courses that help you better get a handle on disciplinary conventions, one that's located in boring city that's close to a bunch of cool cities and the other which is located in a small college town? Helppppppp
  7. Just found this awesome site! So far, I have heard from 6/7 schools. Waiting to hear from University of Oregon PhD in Media Studies. Has anyone heard from UO? I had an interview on 01/31/17 and they said mid-Feb. for decisions but now we are approaching mid-March. Amitted: George Mason University, University of North Dakota Waitlisted: Penn State University Rejected: Cornell, UC Davis, Washington State (Pullman) Still Waiting: University of Oregon
  8. Hello prospective planners. I am probably heading to UO this fall and was wondering if anybody else on here got in and/or is heading there as well?
  9. Hi I hopefully will be completing my masters in math in spring 2012 and I will be applying for the math PhD at Oregon State University this Winter. Could any of the people who (are currently/ will be) attending this university tell me what their emphasis was and what kind of fellowship/Taship awards they provide there? Could you also provide the graduate course experience you had prior to attending this PhD program? For example, I have two grad courses in algebra and I will be taking two grad courses in complex and three in real the following year (that's my grad course experience). I really like analysis and I'm interested in geometry too. I might also be interested in applied math. It seems that this university has all those things and it does not seem to be very competitive, please correct me if I"m wrong. What math subject GRE score should I get to be competitive in this program? What about my GPA. As of now my GPA is barely a 3.0. Please let me know what you all think. Thanks
