Slavic has never been a well represented field on here: but in just in case there are any other 2020 applicants on here I figured I'd start this thread. How's everyone season going? anyone heard back yet? Applied to 8 (NYU, COLUMBIA, BROWN, INDIANA, UIUC, UIC, UOFC, UMICH) heard back positively from 1 so far (UIUC) but that was the first week of january: since then radio silence. how's everyone else faring? im getting antsy + wondering if Brown and Columbia already sent out interview requests?

Hi there. I have recently been accepted to Claremont Graduate University (CGU) for International Studies (funding: TBD) & Arizona State University (ASU) for Political Science: International Relations (funding: TBD). Both are Master's Programs. My question is simple yet difficult, hence me coming here looking for some fresh answers. ASU is known nationally and internationally. CGU is known only know nationally, from what I gathered. In the end, I would like to work abroad, foreign organization, foreign government, I speak Polish and would love to work in Poland's government or even be part of the EU Commission. Any advice and/or knowledge will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Side Notes: 10 years in the Army, Security Clearance, x2 deployments, Political Science Major coming this May 2018.
