  1. I have sent in a deposit to La Salle's graduate program but was just accepted into Salus's SLP graduate program. Does anyone have any opinions on these schools that may help me decide? Salus is a farther commute (40 min vs. 60 min) and it would mean losing my La Salle deposit and paying a new deposit to Salus. Any info on either program would be helpful! Thanks!
  2. I'm attempting to decide between West Chester and Salus University and I'm having a hard time. I'm interested in medical SLP but I heard West Chester is more focused on schools and children, which would make Salus a perfect fit. HOWEVER, WC is cheaper and accredited (Salus is a brand new program). It also is a closer commute. If anyone has information about West Chesters program please let me know!!
  3. I was just accepted into Salus University today for a masters in speech pathology. A required speech class that I took as an undergrad ( It was Intro to Communication Disorders and I went to Temple University) is not deemed equivalent so they want me to take an equivalent class (Language & the Brain) over the summer. An admissions person gave me two online schools but they either do not have an equivalent or the class is filled already or I have no idea what the equivalent is. Any recommendations on what to do???? I'M FREAKING OUT. The class they want me to take is called Language and the Brain (at Temple that's what it is called so I don't know what an equivalent would be called and I didn't take it since it wasn't required). Below I attached the description of the class they need me to take but its the description from my undergrad.
  4. Hi, I applied to Temple, Salus, and La Salle and wanted to start a thread about these schools for fall 2018. Does anyone know how competitive they are this year? When will we hear back (from what I understand): Salus: rolling (after interviewing) Temple: mid to late March Ls Salle: last week of February
  5. I'm only have not heard back from Bloomsburg so far but with their accreditation in question right now I most likely would not attend. I have been wait listed at Montclair. UW's program was discontinued. and I have been accepted to Salus after my interview and the Addelphi/Hofstra/St. John's program has also accepted me! Does anyone one have any pros or cons for these two schools? Or any insight on why UW eliminated the AuD program?
