Hi. I got admitted in the MA in Women's History program at Sarah Lawrence College for Fall 2018. I am from Karachi, Pakistan and cannot afford to fund grad school myself. What options do I have other than the partial scholarships being offered by SLC?
Hi All, I'm from California, fairly liberal, openly queer, car-less, and just applied to schools all over the country for my MFA in creative writing, including Sarah Lawrence, Rutgers, University of Alabama, Iowa Writers' Workshop, Virginia Tech, University of Houston, and University of Texas. I'm wondering if these cities/colleges are accepting? And is there a queer scene at all, either at the college or in the city? Further, I don't have a car, and I've never traveled to any of these places. Are there other means to get around? Could I bike, take the bus, walk? Or is everything spread out? Thank you! Also, if anyone has any favorite spots in any of these areas, feel free to share.
Hello! I am panicking. Does anyone know what the deadline is for accepting an acceptance offer from Sarah Lawrence? I assumed it was April 15th, but could I be wrong? Their application portal says: Please note the enrollment deposit due dates below:MFA Writing Program: March 15th (If for any reason you would like an extension, please contact Paige Ackerson-Kiely, firstname.lastname@example.org) March 15th (TODAY!) is crazy, right?? I haven't even heard back from all my schools! And they're on Spring Break right now, so I can't seem to get in touch with anyone. HELP.
