  1. I'm finishing up my personal statement for a Masters in Speech Pathology and am really worried that the fact that I didn't major in speech pathology in undergrad (Spanish major) will give me a disadvantage. If anyone could give me feedback on how to strengthen my personal statement I'd really appreciate it. Speech Pathology Masters Personal Statement .docx
  2. I am struggling to find information about New York University's funding opportunities for students in the Communication Sciences and Disorders program. Do they offer any funding in the form of scholarships, grants, research assistantships, graduate assistantships, etc?
  3. Hi all, I've recently been accepted to three online programs for Speech Language Pathology: Emerson College, NYU-Steinhardt, and Baylor University for the May 2020 cohort. YAY!! The obvious con is that all three are super expensive.. but I'm willing to make the investment for flexibility and quality programs. I am waiting to hear back from a few other programs, but wanted some feedback regarding these three in the meantime. Are there any graduates from any of these programs that could weigh into my decision? Good or Bad? Or, has anyone heard any information that would be helpful to d
  4. I recently got admitted to both Speech@NYU and Speech@Emerson and I'm most concerned about the tuition (Emerson- $67k, NYU- $82k). Do you know if they offer financial aid/scholarships/grants? I have an estimated family contribution (EFC) of 0000, so I'm hoping that they might offer me some sort of aid. My stats are: 156V, 151Q, 4.5W
  5. Hello everyone! I know that there are a few Speech@NYU threads, but I wanted to start a new one for the new applicants. I have applied for the January 2019 cohort; I submitted my application on October 2nd (the final deadline was November 12th) and am still awaiting a decision. Has anyone else applied for the January 2019 cohort? If so, have you heard anything yet? Looking forward to hearing from you all!
