Hi all, I have 3 years of post-bac experience in a schizophrenia/substance use/mood disorder research clinic at Yale and 160/158 on GRE. I completed an undergrad thesis and also have 1 year of undergrad research experience. However, my undergrad GPA is a 3.45 (from SUNY college). Do I even have a chance of getting in to an APA accredited clinical psych PhD program with my undergrad GPA? I feel like even if I take the GRE again and improve my scores, my undergrad GPA could always be a hinderance in acceptance to one of these programs. I am a recent graduate from Rutgers University - New Brunswick who majored in Cognitive Science (neuroscience track) and minored in philosophy. I'm looking to apply to Cognitive Psychology/Cognitive Neuroscience/Behavioral Neuroscience Ph.D. programs this upcoming cycle. My overall GPA is a 3.52 (3.76 major GPA, idk if I should include this in my CV as well). Hi everyone! I recently just graduated with a bachelors in Speech Language Pathology. I finished with an overall 3.1 GPA and a 2.8 major GPA. I love this field so much that I can’t see myself doing anything else. My huge concern is do I have the chance of getting into graduate school with the GPA that I have. Has anyone been accepted to graduate school with a low GPA or know ways to increase my chances of getting accepted? Thank you! xoxo

I will be applying to MSW programs soon in NYC. Does anyone know if your undergrad GPA gets factored into your graduate program GPA. For example, do they take your undergrad social work classes and factor it into your new GPA in the program or your overall GPA? Thanks.
