  1. Hey! Has anyone here applied to UBC IRES for their Ph.D. program? Have you heard back?
  2. Hi there, I created this thread so those of us who are applying to Canadian Audiology programs can support each other throughout the application process!
  3. The deadline for my UBC application was December 15th (around there) and my SFU one was around January 15th and it's been radio silence! I am getting so anxious. Has anyone heard anything regarding rejections from either? Particularly for social sciences (I applied for MA in Sociology).
  4. Waiting on UBC CS Decisions. Gonna pass out with anxiety now. Have been waiting sleeplessly for last 3 weeks. GradCafe shows many admits already. Last year there were all rejects from March. Last admit was mid Feb. If you are one of them, please share your profile so that I can come back to the ground! Foolish hope is eating me out. UBC applicants, let's talk how you are feeling now? Have you received an admit or an interview or a reject atleast? What other plans have you got. Applied to UofT? Let's discuss
  5. Hey people. I just wanted to check if there were any decisions on MSc (non-PhD track) Computer Science program at UBC? I see a couple of admits from UBC CS but I guess they are from either the PhD/PhD-track Masters programs. Do you know when is the expected timeline for admits for the program? And, if you have got an admit, could you please let us know your profile? Thanks!
  6. Hello All, First time posting, and it is only because I am in a bit of a predicament that I seek advice from random strangers on the internet. I have been accepted into UBC and OISE's Ph.D. programs for this upcoming fall. I am wondering if anyone currently at UBC or even another applicant with more web browsing acumen can tell me what level of flexibility I can expect after completing my course work? My area of interest is the history of education in Ontario and as an Ontario Certified Teacher I am trying to balance the security of a fully funded program at OISE versus an entrance
  7. Hello all, I'm currently enrolled in a three-year online program (BA with single hons) in Theology & Religious Studies which is externally validated (accreditated in US terms) from the University of Chester. It is catered through the Bhaktivedanta College. I'm right now in the last year. By the time admission process starts in Canada, I'll be a PR giving me the local student fee advantage. I'm planning further to opt for Masters in Religious Studies. I have an intention to study in one of the three top universities in Canada - University of Toronto, McGill University or University of
  8. The wait game is excruciating! HaS anyone heard from the department regarding decisions for ECE MASc. 2016 Program ? And Fellow Seniors if any.. how competitive it is to get into this program ? feel free to share your experiences !
  9. Hello! I am starting this because I am hoping that having a place to discuss the admissions process (and the agonizing wait for acceptance/rejection). I am a student from the U.S., applying to UBC's M.Ed program in Educational Studies SCPE program. I was wondering if anyone has been offered acceptance by the Faculty of Education, now or previously, and could offer any advice or comments on the process. Or, if anyone else who applied wanted to chat/comment about their experience I would love to share this journey and welcome the company so that it may hopefully distract me from my own cont
