Hi all, I just received an email from Penn's College of Liberal and Professional Studies about an hour ago that says the following: "Subject: Penn LPS – Transcript Policy Reminder Dear [my name], Congratulations again on your acceptance to the Fels Institute, Master of Public Administration, MPA Full-time Program. Our records indicate that we have not yet received all of your official transcripts. Per our transcript policy, you must submit final official transcripts of all previous academic work. For students who have been accepted to an LPS Post-Baccalaureate or Gradua

Hello to anyone reading this! I have been admitted to UPenn, U-Michigan, and UNC Chapel Hill for a Masters in Urban Planning and desire to focus on economic development/future of work and how that impacts cities. Moreover, I was accepted to UNC Kenan Flagler for their dual degree MBA program. For anyone who is in one of these programs, have you found them to be sufficient without a secondary degree? For Penn and Michigan, have you liked being a part of a broader Design School? How entrepreneurial are these programs? Lastly, does anyone know why UNC is ranked #5 on Planetizen, w

Hi all! Looking for some help here. I've scrolled through different threads re: SP2's admissions interview and have seen different things. I've seen that it usually takes ~3 weeks after submission to get the scheduling email. I submit my application on Saturday, Dec 1 and heard back two days later on Monday, Dec 3. I'm assuming this is good, or is this just because I submit so far in advance of the deadline? Also, any advice about the actual process would be helpful! I'm curious to know how much of the interview is focused on weaknesses/gaps vs. positive

Hi guys, I applied for the MES fall 2018 at Penn and i'm yet to hear back from them. I just want to know if anyone else applied and is equally waiting to hear back. I submitted my application before their April 1 deadline but completed my application end of may , that's 6 weeks till date. I have written to the school and i was advised to wait two more weeks (which ended Friday). Should i be worried? Eek ? considering i'm international and would probably have to apply for form i20, campus housing and student visa.

Hi All, I was admitted to UPenn and CU's Chemical Engineering master program and I am having a hard time deciding which program should I pursue. Both names are great and their ranking are very close. Please leave a comment if you have any ideas if possible and any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has received admissions response from the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education for the Fall 2018 cycle. I submitted my application last year in September, but haven't received any response. I am worried that the delayed response is because I am rejected! To anyone who has received a response, how long did they take to do so? Thank you!!

Hey everyone, I’m new to the forum so apologies if this thread is in the wrong section. I’m currently applying to the following schools and just wondered if any of you have also applied to any of these programs, and if so, have you heard anything back yet? Or if any of you have previously applied, what time-frame did you receive your answers by? As of right now, my primary concern is for Princeton, Yale, and Cornell. I’ve read a lot of theories on whether or not hearing anything by late February is a good sign or a bad sign— but I’m not sure if these theories hold any water. I’ve only heard ba

I recently received my first acceptance to NYU's Silver School of Social work which I was very happy with. That being said, they only gave me one month to accept or deny their offer. I also recently had an interview for UPENN's School of Social Policy and Practice (which is my first choice). I am wondering how long it has taken others to hear back from this program after they have interviewed? Since time is ticking on my NYU acceptance, I am most definitely feeling the pressure. I would also love to hear feedback from anyone who's had experience in either program! Sending best wish

Hi, I have been searching the web in hopes to find more information about the University of Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, I really haven't found any personal stories or testimonals about the school. I am interested whether they offer solid funding for graduate students, specifically in Fine Art?? Are there any students/alum out there who attend or have attended the school thatt wouldn't mind sharing their experience? (From any field )

I have admits for fall 2016 from 1. USC MS CS (Scientists and Engineers) 2. CMU ini MS in Information technology (Information Security track) (MSIT-IS) 3. University of Pennsylvania Masters in Computer and Information Technology (MCIT) I'm having a tough time in finalizing the university to attend. Currently I'm inclined towards UPenn's MCIT program because of the course structure. However I hear a lot of people say that Ivy league colleges have lost their charm and the quality of faculty and research is deteriorating. How true is the observation in the case of UPenn? Is

Hello! Long time lurker, first time poster here. I have a skype interview scheduled with UPenn tomorrow. My field is early American history, and all I really know is I'll be talking to Daniel Richter (though Kathleen Brown is the faculty member I'm hoping to work with since her research is right in my wheelhouse). Can anyone who has done this interview/knows the faculty help me figure out what to expect?

Hey Guys, First Post. I was wondering how to tell the competitiveness of the Penn's MSE program before I apply for the March Deadline. The most recent stats has someone with a GPA under 3.4! And then there are two other people, one has a 3.9 and high GRE scores and the other doesn't have any listed stats. Do you think they have a low threshold in accepting people, even if it is Penn? Thanks!
