  1. It's the middle of March and I still haven't heard any admission decisions from 5 of my choices. Even after scrounging through the results page , I've not seen a single admit/rejection/waitlist post from any of these programs. I am aware of one of them being behind on making decisions. The other 4 have been dead silent, even after reaching out to their department. A part of me wonders if I've been waitlisted, but I've yet to be told so. Is it something that people generally notify you of? Mandatory or optional?
  2. Hi I am currently applying to School Psychology PhD programs. I had an interview at one school a month ago and at the time they told us we would find out 2 weeks later. It's been a month and still no response. I've emailed the head of admissions for the program a week ago and haven't gotten a response. After my interview I emailed professors who interviewed me personally and they had emailed me back. Should I email one of them asking when i'll find out my admissions decision or keep waiting?
  3. Today is the application deadline for the single program that I am applying for, all LORs are in and now all I need to do is wait. Tomorrow is a holiday, so nothing is going to happen. I figure if that my application totally sucks, I will get a rejection in a week or so, on the other hand if my application is absolutely stellar, then I should get a positive answer in the same timeframe. In reality, my application is somewhere in between total crap and best ever. So, for now, all I can to do is wait (and wait, and wait and wait...). Most likely I should get a response either way in a
  4. Hey All!I saw this thread created in previous years and thought it would be great to have a support network! Applied to 12 clinical and counseling programs this cycle. Have completed 3/4 interviews so far. I was wait-listed for a two programs post interview, and alternate for one program pre-interview. Not sure how to feel at this point. This is my second application cycle. Any who.. Looking for a judgement-free zone to discuss the process and offer support to my fellow wait-listers...
  5. Anyone applied for CS PhD at UBC or SFU? Its scary to look at previous admit stats.
  6. I received the unofficial email from CHEMISTRY, like 2weeks ago, or less than...but there is still so silent for GSAS. Is there anyone get the official ad from GSAS NYU? thanks
  7. I know I'm newly registered, but I've been trolling the boards for some time. I'm an artist in my spare time, and I felt compelled to express my "feelings" during the waiting period. I hope you enjoy: http://kellyforayear.blogspot.com/2012/01/monday-january-9-2012.html
