When I pre interviewed with the PI I applied to, she mentioned that the committee will be meeting today, 01/09, to make recommendations on who to invite. I'm expecting to hear back later this week or early next with decisions. Best of luck to us!

 I saw the post too and I'm hoping for the same thing! According to the post, it looks like the email sent out today was a general email extended to everyone being invited- not good news for us.

If you're seeing invites on the TGC results page for schools you applied to, and you haven't heard anything ~2 weeks before the scheduled interview dates, it's safe to assume rejection. So most likely by mid January, if the schools you applied to have interviews between 2/1-2/5.

I've been in your position before, it sucks. You take the L, become more competitive, and increase your chances for the next application round (If you decide this is truly the career path you'd like to take).

Email from GWU  - seems like all first round interviews went out. Said if people don't accept by Jan. 13th they will send 2nd rounds out.
