So far, I’ve been accepted to UMichigan, Case Western Reserve, University of Illinois-Chicago and University of Illinois-Urbana. Top choice is Case. I would definitely consider SSA more heavily with a generous scholarship, mainly since my family is still in Chicago and I was born and raised there so it would be nice to be back home. I also know some SSA alums in Chicago who are doing some really great things. Hopefully today is the day! Yes. Lol. Do you know if they were all happy with their experiences in SSA? Yes, ha I definitely am clinging to supremely false hope that we'll hear by 5 pm today, but I doubt it. After you have submitted the FAFSA, then UChicago will update you will in a few weeks what your new financial package will be. Then you can assess how much you will have to take out in loans, which will also be offered as part of the federal aid. Hopefully, the government will be able to offer you a sizable amount on top of whatever UChicago already gave you.
