Fall 2019 Master's Invites (Mental Health Counseling, Social work, etc.)

Hi guys, 

Did anyone apply to Boston College for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master's and/or hear from them? I saw that in past years they had interviews way before now, so I'm wondering if they changed things or if I can assume I was rejected.

Date invite received: 2/26/19 (I applied on 1/14)

Interview date: 3/1

The interview process was very easy (only three, pretty basic questions) with 5 other people including the interviewer. It was virtual and lasted around 25 minutes. Interviewer was a faculty member who had access to personal statement, resume, and LoR, though questions were not based on those.

Hi,  just curious which one university offer you want to take in the end. I am considering St. John‘s university, Brooklyn college and Syracuse university, all of them are clinical mental health CAPREP program. Also, it seems like there is few information I can find online to compare with different clinical mantal health programs. Do you hav any suggestions or website could help me?

hi, when was the application due?

 

For one of my programs, I turned it in Dec. 15, was invited Feb. 25th ish, and the interview was in mid-March. However, it is pretty late in the year if the due date has passed to be interviewed unless the due date is later.

Hi, thank you for your reply!

The due date was pretty late, it was on Feb. 1, I turned it in January 15ish. I emailed the dept to ask about the application status in March, and they mentioned that the final decision would be made by the first week of May which is pretty close.
