Apparently in previous years, there were no responses until at least March. If I may ask, what's your educational background and relevant experience? tngus777 Posted February 14, 2019 Author Share Posted February 14, 2019 Hi, I am currently teaching a grade 12 classical language course at a private school, taught autistic children at church, and taught students at Kumon Learning centre. My major is math, and my grade for the final year was 8.23 out of 9. Oh, and I looked into the Acorn and it says “invited” I was wondering if this means that I am accepted? Go check your Acorn! As soon as you log in the Acorn, on the dashboard, it states the stream and whether you are invited or not. For me, I applied to both PJ and JI, and on the PJ one it states it is ‘Financially cancelled’ while the JI one states ‘invited’. Now I am waiting for the actual email and mail. traveller123456 Posted February 15, 2019 Share Posted February 15, 2019 Hi everyone, I have received an offer of admission to the MT program earlier today, I applied to all three divisions and got acceptance to all. I will be choosing I/S. I was notified via email that a decision was made and so I went to check the SGS website and downloaded the electronic offer of admission which had all the info in there on how to formally accept the offer. I checked ACORN and I didnt actually see any changes that would lead me to believe I was accepted. I am currently a UofT student so maybe thats why? I applied a few days before the Nov 15 deadline, but I was surprised that I got it now because I know someone who did the program a few years ago and she got accepted in April. So I guess that just shows you that if you dont hear anything in the next month, dont lose hope because of wait lists and stuff. Hang in there guys, Im sure the offers will be coming soon! I also submitted my application few days before November 15th I got accepted to P/J and J/I, and I will be choosing J/I. It was quite early and I was surprised too! Anyways, what are your teachables? If you don't mind sharing what were your gpas and how did you guys go about getting your prof reference letter?
