Can a B.S. in Biology, pursue M.S. in atmospheric sciences?

Recommended Posts

Hi FLPrincessGrad!

It is certainly possible. As you think of what you want to do and the is it possible question you might consider how well you are prepared to manage large data sets and how comfortable you are with a computational environment that can manipulate them (e.g. Python, R).

Good luck!

I've read about a few people who came from the humanities and, upon taking the necessary prerequisites, gained admission to graduate school in atmospheric science, so it's certainly possible, especially if you're coming from a different STEM field.
