So close, but so far away on my SOP, anyone care to critique? : Cultural Anthropology

Hey guys!

I've been working on my SOP for PhD (BA holder) in cultural anthropology for over a month now and the more I read it, the less I believe in it. I'm on a tight turn around (Dec 1st) and could really use some guidance! The one program requires a 500 word SOP/Personal statement and the other wants a 1000 SOP + 500 words on what I assume is a personal statement. 

If anyone would be wiling to take a look please send me a message and I'll get you what I have. Also, good luck to everyone out there who is nearing the end of their application process, you can do this (simultaneously trying to tell myself the same😅) !!
