Has anyone heard from McGill or Ottawa? Those two are my last hope for this cycle :(

I’m in the same boat!! I don’t think Ottawa has sent anything out yet, so there’s definitely still hope there. I’m at McGill currently and a prof mentioned that they’d had way more applications than usual, which may be why it’s taking so long to hear back. I think some profs may have done prelims at McGill, but I don’t think there have been formal interviews yet.

Congrats! What timeline did they give you to accept?

I believe I have until April! I might wait to see if I get an interview with my other top choice, but I think I’m going to accept this week. I really like the layout of the program, and I’ve talked to some current students who all have great things to say.

Received an interview invitation for the PsyD program at Memorial University :)

Edit: Interviews are going to be scheduled for the week of February 13th with two faculty members, approximately 45 minutes in length.

Does anyone have any insight into what the Waterloo formal interviews are like? I'm not seeing anyone else active on here or the discord server to discuss with!

I think my interviewing is done for this cycle! Both relieved and exhausted. Third times the charm - 4 years after I first applied and after completing an experimental MA and being a full-time researcher!

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on York's interview process? Do they have both prelims and official department wide interviews? Or is it just one interview with your respective POI?

I believe York is very prof-dependent, so interviews are held at the POI’s discretion and there is no official departmental interview process.

Thank you so much for sharing!! It's so hard to find info on the process online, so I really appreciate it :)
