still twiddiling my thumbs. I think either earlier on here or discord someone said that there was a few people who interviewed - some choose to interview some don't - and from what I gathered we should be hearing by mid to late march with a possibility of being in early april

it was indeed on discord

Congrats to everyone on making it through this application cycle. Wether admitted or not, even going through the whole process is a lot to be proud of.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any RA opportunities in areas concerning depression, anxiety, trauma or LGBTQIA+ topics? Trying to gain research experience thats more specific to my areas of interest heading into this next cycle of applications. Willing to relocate within Canada. Let me know :)

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted into the program! unfortunately it’s a no go again this year maybe next time.

Similar to @skowallI’ve been trying to get more research experience preferably  research surrounding marginalized populations but open to anything social psychology (I.e relationships, happiness, sexual wellbeing). If anyone knows of any labs accepting RAs I would appreciate some help :) located in Ontario and virtual is preferred!

Mmm, You could look into the universities in Toronto. Im at UofT and we get a ton of emails from the surrounding universities, as well as the surrounding hospitals (e.g., St Mikes, Sick Kids) and a ton of Research Institutes (Baycrest Health, Rotman etc.) There are a lot of business schools as well that house the some behavioural psych labs. Im not entirely sure how other labs work at other universities, but I know some psych labs at UofT you have to be a student at the University, but not all of them. I hope this helps out, an good luck!

Bittersweet week - first received a rejection from Waterloo after being on the waitlist. Knew I was on Guelph's waitlist still, and proceeded to grieve this cycle. Today got an unofficial offer for Guelph - 4th time's the charm! Feels so surreal after all this time.
