jheez, how did you get everything done so quickly?

Yes!! All applications in, including CGS-D. Now for the waiting game lol. Worst part.

**realized I answered the wrong question sorry! For me I only had 2 schools I was applying to this year and had started fairly early.

Just finished my SFU one, which was a bit more tedious than the rest because they've asked for an additional research statement in addition to your statement of intent. But feeling a significant weight off already! Only 5 to go lol.

Hi all, feeling a bit silly.. does anyone have experience with trying to change the TMU online application form (before they follow up with you to submit your supporting documents) after you've submitted it? It doesn't allow any changes to be made through the portal. I wanted to add a third reference and unfortunately forgot to add it before I submitted. I've emailed the grad program to see if they can add it for me, but I'm not very hopeful. Thankfully a third reference isn't required, but I'd really like to include it.

TMU does not allow any form of changes after submission. So I think you can't really do much about it.

does anyone know which professors are accepting at concordia

I would love to know as well. I have reached out to about 5 different potential PI's and none of them are accepting students.

oh okay thanks! this is my second cycle applying and my statement from last year was about 1300 words, but i couldn't find any specific word count

Was wondering the same - and if I'd just not been able to find it on the website (which, in all honesty, is a bit hard to navigate). I haven't seen it specified so I'm going to stick to 3 pages.

Does waterloo train you to be a child AND adult psychologist? "Another unusual feature of our program is its lifespan emphasis: we train all our students in the clinical assessment and treatment of both children and adults. ", this is from their website

Does anyone know where we submit the personal statement for UTSC? On the online application, I can only find a section to upload my CV, but no upload button for the personal statement.

you have to submit the application first, then it'll allow you to upload supplemental material, including the personal statement.

Okay thank you! And do you know if I have to submit the CV in the main application or could that also be uploaded after with the personal statement? Do you remember how long it took after you submitted your application before the system allowed you to go back in to upload you personal statement? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just so confused lol

no worries! yes, the CV was part of the main application, before you submit. Unfortunately, I don't remember/can't tell how long after it allowed me to upload my statement. I don't remember it taking much time.

Anyone know what the personal statement limits are for waterloo? I'm seeing on one page that it's 2000 words but then on the main clinical psych page it says 2 pages single spaced.

Good question! I think it's 2,000 words based on the online application system, and that the main clinical psych page might be outdated...thats my guess?

That's what I'm thinking...at least there's opportunity for argument there if the issue arises! Thanks :)

i was struggling so hard with the website as well! i had sent them an email and they got back to me today - this is what they said "Due to great volume of applications, the review committees are asking prospective students to limit this to no more than a page and to focus on the research and long term goals."

not sure how accurate that is though, i know i'm going to struggle to cut it down to that much...

looking at their guidebook, it does seem like that both adult and child psychopathology courses are required (same with practica), though i imagine a big part of it will be electives chosen and your research supervisor!
