Another distraction

Recommended Posts

I hate to say it, but Hyperbole and a half always makes me feel better about my life. Her stories are very funny (and her ability to capture expressions in a crude computer drawing program is outstanding), but reading about the difficulties she faces getting through the day can be heartbreaking.

For those historically inclined (or not), one must not miss Kate Beaton: http://www.harkavagrant.com/

http://www.nerve.com/news (articles about sex, love, taboo topics)

http://armorgames.com/category/puzzle-skill (flash games, a definite way to waste some time)

Most of my distractions are lower-brow than what's been posted here (my fave is Dlisted, http://dlisted.com), but I also enjoy Awkward Family photos (http://awkwardfamilyphotos.com) for quick procrastination when you don't want to read anything.

But what really eats up my time: http://tvtropes.org !!!!
