Hi all. Though I've mostly frequented the Film and English forums here, I did apply and was accepted to one Comp Lit program: Washington. I'm going to Seattle next week for a campus visit and hope to learn more about my funding situation. If anyone else is considering Washington and would like to chat more, feel free to be in touch. Thanks.

Just got an email acceptance from Irvine... Nearly a week after the first post on the results board. So, don't lose hope!

Last year Davis sent me an email AFTER April 15th to ask if I was still available. (I wasn't.) it's not over until it's over, pals!

Hi, I also got into Washington.

Do you know if the campus visit is an official event?

I was hoping there would be a visit weekend or something, so that I maybe the school would provide funding for the trip.. :(

Hi paulbassett. My visit isn't official. By coincidence, I will be in Seattle for a conference late next week and asked to stop by the department for a chat. I haven't heard about any sort of official visit weekend.

Congrats on your acceptance to the program. What do you study? My area is comparative world cinema.
