Anyone Hear Back From UBC MLIS 2014?

I've looked everywhere to see if anyone's posted news of being accepted by UBC's MLIS program and couldn't find anything. I applied for the Fall 2014 semester and I'm constantly checking (like everyone else in this forum) my email every day.

 

So is anyone out there still waiting or have they heard from UBC already?

I just got the offer, so excited!

In fact, I got the rejection from Alberta yesterday, and was deeply depressed....

I just got an email from UBC said that I was recommended for admission. Good luck with everyone who is still waiting!

Oh nice! Congrats to you both on the acceptance! I still haven't heard anything from UBC yet :S getting worried now if people have begun hearing from them.

I hope you hear back soon Gmg3! I emailed them too and they mentioned it's been busier than they had anticipated. I'm hoping we'll hear the news tomorrow.

I'm a little late to this party. I was waitlisted. I got the offer just a few weeks ago!

 

What direction or field are you thinking of going into, or do you not know yet?
