What do you guys think are the most important details to get organized in my brain before heading into interviews? Suddenly I'm feeling super nervous!

I've only had one interview so far, but I looked through faculty work again, did a little extra research on one of the interviewers (we've been corresponding by email so I knew her name before the interview), and came up with a list of questions to ask.

I felt fairly prepared, but I still stammered a lot for the first few minutes!

I'm no expert. I've talked about this a lot with my mentors. And I've attended and left a graduate program because my needs weren't being met. Ultimately it doesn't matter where you go to school. the

Lurker here just wanting to offer some perspective.  I am probably old enough to be a parent to most of you.  I come to the art world with a bachelor's, master's, and over two decades of work in other

Is this referring to Irvine?

Anyone know which schools don't bother to send rejections?

Yes, this is referring to Irvine. I have no idea when they send out rejections, but I think a lot of schools take their time doing it.

Thank you!

The end of Feb does seem very far away. But I also applied to Oxford and their site says it could be a wait of 8 to 10 weeks before anyone hears anything which is excruciating. Plus, I applied to Simon Fraser which I've heard can get back to people as late as May. Where ever I end up going, my husband is planning to come with and these tentative months not knowing if we'll be uprooting our lives are very difficult!

Has anyone who applied to UCLA gotten any activity on their site from LA or the UCLA network?

i have views from Los Angeles, but nothing from UCLA.  I applied to interdisciplinary so not sure when theyre even starting to review or if they already did it.

Has anyone done skype interview? It was supposed to happen 40 min ago, no call, no email, nothing.

I sent an email and made a call, what should I do? just wait? It seems like the person who's interviewing me is offline this whole time, but he just added me like an hours ago...

I don't know what's going on... It's so stressful... I'm freaking out....

I applied to the MFA in Art at CalArts.

Was the Rutgers email individualized or a mass email?

yeah i did too, is your work focused in painting?  I would guess your portolfio is photo and print media?

No, interdisciplinary.

Sorry, I just realized I misread/understood what you wrote, I thought you were asking in terms of who applied to what department. I thought I would clarify which one I applied to since I applied to Photo for Yale...if that makes any sense. I'm freaking exhausted so excuse my scatterbrained responses!
