There's never nothing wrong with asking who, what, when, where, why and how! Too much miss information dates being thrown around that have long since passed. Folks finding out their applications were never reviewed by the review committee. The last min class size to 5 might of work for other folks, but I didn't find the exclusiveness of just 4 other painters to be attractive. Damn, that's surprising about UCLA—always thought they had good funding. Guess things might have changed this year. :\ You're gonna dominate whatever scene you go into!!! If I hadn't back in February I would have never found out they messed up my application either. Like you said a few pages ago, I don't believe in no, but no(t right now) lol. Shame, because I really like some of the faculty, and some of the students and alumni that have come from Tyler. I might re-apply next year based on those factors, but, like you said, we're young and got time. Best of luck to you on your endeavors! What the heck?! The graduate admissions office at Tyler is a mess. They apparently didn't sync my portfolio and application, and only forwarded it to the painting department when I emailed them asking about my status. Pratt offered me $30k and I asked for more and they told me that was the highest amount offered and half their students receive no scholarship. -_____- I'm not going to go to grad school and just be anxious the entire time of how much debt I'm going into to be there. Yeah I really don't think working in grad school outside the school is a good idea, it really distracts you for the reason why you're there!
