If I receive a GRFP (which I highly doubt I will), do you think I could contact the schools I applied to and ask if my application can be reconsidered? Just looking for opinions! Thank you! I really wanted it to be today because I had an early flight so I could actually be awake when I got the email. Maybe my initial prediction of 3/23 is right? And I don’t think anyone hanging out on Reddit or GC has “inside knowledge,” or any information other than a guess based off of previous years. Other than it being a Tuesday or a Friday sometime before mid (or late?) April, who knows when it’ll come out. I knew it wouldn’t be out this morning, but I was still disappointed when I woke up this morning to no email. I’m tired of waiting!! I just want to know. Sigh. Yes, absolutely! I have heard of people initially being rejected, but then admitted after winning the GRFP (one got into Harvard for bio this way). We all just want the process to be over. This thread serves as an outlet for everyone's nerves and anxiety. I actually find it pretty therapeutic, and it's actually helping me get my work done (as opposed to just refreshing Fastlane over and over again).
