My issue is that I am now only studying for a semester, and I applied for a full academic year because that's what I originally had planned to do...so I'm not sure what to do. It's amazing how this thread had hundreds of replies in years past and now we're down to this small group. Hopefully that's a good sign for us? It's true that in previous years the flagships also got a budget email ( a week AFTER everyone) but it seems that none of the FLI students have been contacted this year. Like everyone else, the suspense is killing me. However, it's almost April, so, we're getting closer to finding out! I suggest we read it all, though, it’s quite interesting. They say no journalism—freelance or anything else—which makes me wonder if can’t also blog while there? And no, I'm an undergrad scholarship applicant. You have to call or email them about your change from 1 year to only a semester. That is a significant change. Did you get a budget email?
