  1. I appreciate everyone who replied to my post and gave me advice. I ended up switching things around a bit, but I believe it all worked out. I only get to choose one school to attend in the end anyways. It sure was a good problem to have. Thank you all again!
  2. So it happened... I got into the second school, a day after I emailed the first school my confirmation. Does anyone have experience/know anyone who has experience visiting a school on an alternative date on their own (an unofficial visit) and ended up choosing the school over all others that they attended for the official visit weekends? I really want to consider both schools seriously, but feel a bit pressured at this point because picking which school's official visit weekend to attend seems almost like making a decision between the two schools.
  3. I was fortunate to get into one school in mid-December and was invited to their visit weekend. Unfortunately, this date conflicts with another school's, from which I am still waiting to hear back on my admission decision. The former school requested my confirmation of attending the weekend asap. The latter school rather strongly indicated on their application form that I should reserve the date for their visit weekend if I am serious about the school. Based on last year's admissions results for the latter school, I don't expect to hear back from them any time soon, and I feel like it's about time for me to get back to the former school with my confirmation before they start doubting my interest in them. At this point, I am thinking I should confirm my attendance to the former school and explain this conflict to the latter if I do get in. Same goes for all other schools I've applied to. If anyone could provide any advice for my situation, I would really appreciate it. Good luck, everyone!
