HKS SOP - Goals essay - Help!

Hi, 

 

I want to know how elaborate my goal essay needs to be in terms of my career plan. I know the nature of role I want to get in post grad school and I am clear about the Population/demographic my policy work will help. Is this enough? or should I state the specific activities I will be pursuing? 

 

 

Also, please tell me if this structure will work

 

 

Para 1) start with goal – what and where (3- 4) lines

Para 2) Talk about why from experience and demographic

Para 3) another para on previous experience work and how I hope it will help me

Para 4) Skills I have and Skills I need to build

Para 5) Reason for HKS and how I will contibute

 

I am completely stuck and I would extremely grateful if someone can help me find a sample essay or even the stucture.
