I had the same feelings towards this university, but in the end it all comes down to how much effort a student puts into it and that would apply to every university. Ive been out for 7 years and have been working as an SLPA in a school system for the last 5 years. I was rejected 4 years in a row to the college where i got my undergrad....talk about depressing. I cried many tears. Now, that ive finally been accepted at NOVA, its super scary due to high cost. Im married with 2 children as well, so im wondering about it consuming every moment with running kids here and there. In the end, ill probably go for it as this seem like its my last chance.
