PhD Position for Data Mining at 2015 Fall/2016 Spring

One PhD Position for research areas of Data Analytics/Data Sciences is available for Fall 2015, at Center on Stochastic Modeling, Optimization, & Statistics (COSMOS), UT Arlington. One of our accepted students cannot come in Fall and thus one position became available now for Fall. Graduate students with background in data mining, machine learning, computer science, industrial engineering, mathematics, information engineering, bioinformatics, or other related areas are encouraged to apply. If you are interested, please send your CV, transcripts, and TOEFL/GRE scores to shouyiw@uta.edu. We will make decision quickly. Accepted Ph.D. students will be provided with full financial support.

Hi, I am definitely interested in this program. I am in the US and obtained both my Undergraduate and Masters from the US. I believe it's pretty late for Fall acceptance, is that right? If no, how do I proceed. If yes, I wish to apply for Spring.

I just need to take my GRE in a month or two but I do have pretty goo GPA, Speak excellent English, and have teaching of Math and Stats experience.

How can I proceed with this?
