  1. Hey, hope you are doing well. I really appreciated your input earlier this summer regarding living in Vancouver. I was really hoping to get a spot for on-campus res but it didn't work out because of the long waiting list. Now I'm having a really hard time finding a suitable place. Is there something you can recommend (like a rental agencies or areas that are cheaper) or know of anyone looking for a roommate? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
  2. Hey all! Anyone going to UBC and looking for a roommate?
  3. This is so helpful, thank you so much!! I wonder if it's too late to apply for res housing :S
  4. I know exactly what you mean - I'm from Ottawa, so going all the way to the other side of the country is a bit scary. I'm not sure to be honest. Res would be ideal. But as you said, quite pricey so I'm considering other options...perhaps. not too far from the campus though.
  5. Folks from BC/Vancouver, any advise regarding finding a place? Is grad res a good option?
  6. On the same boat! I emailed them and they told me if you haven't received any updates it means that have been waitlisted and your application is still 'active' and being considered.
  7. Cool! Are you from BC? I'm wondering if I should consider living on res or rent externally.
  8. Thanks! I applied to Epidemiology. In that case, I will give them a call on Monday.
  9. Well, because I live in Ottawa and moving to Toronto would be easiest for me as opposed to BC or Alberta, if I were to accepted UBC or UofA. The other program I applied to is the Waterloo online MPH program...and I'm a bit skeptical about doing a master's online.
  10. Hello Everyone! Has everyone who applied from UofT heard anything from them? Rejected or accepted? I applied to 4 MPH programs and I have gotten accepted to all of them – but haven’t even heard from UofT yet. It’s frustrating because my decision depends on it.
