  1. Congrats evreyone! I also received an acceptance from UBC yesterday
  2. Hi papillonbleu22 I went through mine on Monday and it wasn't too bad! My only non-confidential tip would be to slow things down and don't talk too fast. Its OK if you don't fit in everything you wanted to say, because the subjects are so broad anyways. The time pressure is definitely present, but don't let it take away from what you would like to say by making you feel flustered or pressured. Also, be sure to talk to the current students after the interviews because they have a lot of insightful things to say about attending UofO! However, take that advise with a grain of salt because I have absolutely no idea how well I did! Good luck
  3. Someone posted a couple days ago in GradCafe Results that they received a call from UBC in February. Congrats to whoever you are! Has anyone else heard anything from UBC?
  4. Congratulations to everyone who has heard from UofA!! I just received an email inviting me to Ottawa for a series of "mini-interviews". Does anyone have any experience with these or know what types of questions they will be asking?
  5. Yes, I am thinking of applying to Ottawa (as an FSL speaker). Please share if you hear anything!
  6. I am wondering if anyone has any experience or stories of applying to the University of Ottawa as a second language French speaker? I took French as a minor during my first degree and have spent a year abroad studying in French, but I am certainly not a near-native speaker! Does anyone have any idea how forgiving the U of O admissions department is on rusty non-native French speakers?
