  1. Thanks The page you posted is only for Queen's degrees. It says: The information on these pages is intended for undergraduate students in the Faculty of Arts and Science. Academic Regulations in other Faculties may differ. I think you are right. They should at least tell us their conversion method. In the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, http://www.ece.queensu.ca/Future-Students/Graduate/Admission-Requirements.html The minimum requirements for admission are: Domestic Applicants - a minimum cumulative average of 75% or B+ or Upper Second Class Standing. International Applicants - a minimum cumulative average of: P.R. China - 80% or GPA of 3.2/4.0 India, Bangladesh and Pakistan - First Class or 63% Iran - 16/20 All others - 80% Using foreigncredits. For a UK degree, 70% = US Grade A GPA 4.00 But they say they want 80%. It looks like they have a different conversion. But that is not the mechanical department, which I am waiting for their answer regarding this.
  2. At Queen's, for MEng, the academic prerequisites are An honours Bachelors degree in Applied Science or Engineering with a B (73-76.9% or GPA 3.0). For a UK degree, how does Queen's calculate GPA? Thanks a lot
  3. Or any other field of research in mechanical engineering
  4. I didn't get a notification that someone replied. Thanks a lot for yours. It is really helpful.
  5. Thanks a lot for your answer and sorry for my late one. Is the internship compulsory?
  6. Hi If anyone has job prospects, statistics or anything about these, please tell. Thanks a lot Energy and Fluid Systems Manufacturing and Dynamic Systems Materials Engineering
  7. 1. Some Canadian universities offer the MEng at 1 year and the MASc at 2 years of study. The university of Victoria mentions a Typical program length of within 24 months for both MEng and MASc. Isn't there a standard program length for MEng in Canada? 2. Finishing within 24 months might be the maximum length. The average length could be less. Can I know the average length for a Victoria MEng student? The units for MASc in Victoria are 19.5, for MEng are 16.5. Is this an indication of the length of the program?
  8. Dear all, three year terms, fall, winter and summer For MEng and MASc studnets, do they take classes/research even in summer? I thought summer is a holiday for student, but when I saw tuition fees for some universities, I found they multiply term fees by three, so summer is included. So, I wanna confirm, Are summer classes standard, or just for the ones who want to finish quick? Thanks a lot
