  1. So sorry to hear that! That's scary. What happened with the letter, if you don't mind my asking?
  2. I have Squarespace too, and it's definitely a dangerous rabbit hole. Before I got my interview I was obsessed with checking my analytics and then cross-referencing with a website that can pinpoint the city and state of IP addresses. It definitely wasn't healthy. Luckily, I've kicked that habit since I had my interview. Now back to refreshing my e-mail 1,000 times a day...
  3. I had my interview with Syracuse. She asked me about my background, my work, my influences, and we talked about why I wanted to go to grad school and why Syracuse in particular. I thought it went pretty well, so here's hoping!
  4. How did the Syracuse interview go?
  5. Congrats! When's yours?
  6. Dunno...@Ahk posted it in the Photography 2015 thread.
  7. Someone said that interview requests for photo went out yesterday.
  8. Thanks! I submitted my application on Feb. 1st...basically the last minute. Sifting through last year's forum, it seems like folks got notifications throughout February, so they may or may not be coming in waves.
  9. Monday afternoon, via Skype.
  10. Just got a Syracuse interview e-mail!!!
  11. Also waiting on Syracuse for MFA Photo! If I'm not mistaken, folks were starting to hear back around time last year for interviews. I should probably go outside and take some pictures, yet here I sit...
  12. Hey seefortyone - I haven't gone through the program myself, but I know a couple of people who have. It's a limited residency program - if I understand correctly, you meet for six weeks out of the year, and are otherwise in the field working on projects and assignments and checking in via Skype/email. Excellent faculty and visiting lecturers as you've mentioned, and some great names have recently come out of the program. So, my admittedly secondhand impressions - It can be the perfect fit, IF what you're looking for is low-residency. If you're looking for a classroom community and supportive learning environment to foster your growth as an artist, this might not be it. If you're looking for some time to dedicate to working on your art and want (limited) access to some great faculty, it could be the ticket. One of the alum I know absolutely loved the program, in part because it meant he could still work and have his home life while going to school. Another expressed regrets and wished that maybe he had gone for a non limited-res program. It depends on what your needs are.
