I applied for PhD program in every university because I'm going to finish my master in a few months. My area is solid state devices. It is strange for me because I though I had a strong application for UIUC and UT Austin, I'm international but I have a reccomandation for a professor at UT Austin and I spent there a semester as exchange student. I cannot figure out what is happening?

Hi @ all I applied to Stanford, Berkeley, Harvard and I got rejections, I also applied to UIUC, Michigan and UT Austin but I do not hear anything fro the latter schools. Anyone in the same situation?

I'm Italian and I applied for this fall, I think that you cannot use the US metric to evaluate your curriculum. I'm sure you can have good chances as an international applicants. German universities has often a good reputation. Stefano

Hey guys, I saw many EE admissions decisions are already sent out by many different schools, in particular a lot from Columbia and Stanford. Can anyone that has already recived informal admission post his stats? It would be veeeery kind, expecially about about Stanford decisions, I applied there too!
