I think you should weigh your options.
I mean the school that you have applied for will have something good for you that made you apply there. Right? or was it a debunk app ?
If it is a good school and you do find something of interest there, I suggest dont stress over the waiting thing and enjoy a debt-free grad school. That's a huge achievement in itself to be honest. Atleast at the end of the curriculum you won't have to stress about paying education loans. And economy can be a bitch, you never know whats going to happen.

I have been waitlisted to one of my top choices. So yeh, kinda feeling uneasy. Rest decisions are yet to come and so hopefully (fingers crossed) i will not have to do the wait game.
Where have you been waitlisted ? It will be good to google the univ's waitlisting stats. For Cornell (where im waitlisted) they have an acceptance of 14% from waitlisted members.
cheers!

oh well. I misspelled berkeley as berklyey (lol) . And ive been rejected as well.
Not to dishearten you guys, but i don't think such small things matter honestly. and if it does, its a very petty way of judging a student who has to go through the such tedious application process.

Thats great Fndacs, Congratulations. Ive heard from the students (also part of the selection committee who reads SOP's n stuff) that Berkeley relies heavily on GRE scores. So i guess thats where I lost the bet. They have certain (mysterious) benchmarks set and do not take students below that GRE score. Just hope that is not true for all the schools. >.

I'm sorry i forgot to mention. These are for Masters and not for PhD. As i was typing this reply, I got an rejection email from UCB. oh well (this years selection is 40 out of 380 apps) Anyone have any clue about how the GRE scores play a role in admissions process. I start to think that for the top schools, it is a big deal. @SSJ. in reivew might be a good thing. it still means you got the chance. hang in their buddy

Hey. Congrats on the acceptances.
I would say Cornell. Its a better ranked program - but ive heard its more theoretical in its approach. Whilst UPenn is more design oriented. Ofcourse, this would matter on what concentration you have in mind.
