That is an outdated research photograph taken from R.W. Livingstone's The Legacy of Greece, published in 1923. It appears there as fig. 7, between pages 176 and 177. The bust was discovered in the Villa of the Papyri in Herculaneum, and Livingstone identifies its figure as Aristotle, and dates it to the 4th century. The bust is now held by the Museo archeologico nazionale di Napoli, where it is known as Bust of Democritus, inventory number 5602.
