I already plan to apply statistics and biostatistics outside 50... I took GRE without preparation in math. And I will take it two weeks later. There is no body in my major apply to statistics master program. I have no idea about how to locate myself. Thank you so much. Cyberwulf, you are the best! To be ensured, I will apply 20 grad schools, is that enough?

I will definitely do that. Mainly in Quanti, right? What kind of school should I apply? Ranking from 30-60? I believe that even I get high score in Quanti part of GRE, it is impossible to get to top grad statistics program, because my lack in mathematical background. I don't know if I underestimate myself for applying programs ranking low, or I am over-ambitious to apply statistics program with such insufficient background in math. I am totally confused.

Undergrad: Fishery Science and Technology international student GPA: 3.61/4.00 GRE: V153/Q158/3.5 (possibly taking GRE again) ibt: 94 Coursework: Calculus I 91/100, CalculusII(Multivariable)90/100, Linear Algebra 89/100, Probability 86/100, Biostatistics 91/100, Aquatic ecology 94/100 Visual Basic 90/100 Research: 4 short researches in Ecology and Acquculture (Mainly in charge of data analysis) I do not expect to get admitted in top school in statistics program in master phase. I wish I can get into can master program at first, even in university with relatively low rank. And then for PhD program I can apply better school. I am learning C and C++ outside school and self-learning mathematical analysis. What kind of book do you recommend? Is that plausible? I plan to apply for 15 schools. Does anyone have any advices for me? Thank you!!!
