  1. I don't know much about the program except that the people i've spoken with seem to have enjoyed it. Check out the work of the professors and students, if you haven't already, and see if anything speaks to you. The only MAT program for art education in OR seems to be at Lewis and Clark College in Portland. The program looks pretty great. You have to choose between elementary and middle school or middle school and high school. If you want something more comprehensive(meaning K-12) Tyler or MassArt might be better suited to your needs. Hope that helps.
  2. Hi haphy, Have you looked at MassArt or Maine College of Art. They both have programs that are relatively inexpensive. MassArt has a couple paths and some great resources. Also, Univ of Utah has an MFA in Community Art Education that sounds pretty great. RISD's art education programs are only one year long. So, the tuition might sound more affordable. Have fun! c
