For UCB, they have an open house on Mar. 18th, and there were about 30+ students in the SEMM program then...they said they are expecting around 50 incoming students... Just got the accpetance email from UIUC for Master, but w/o funding..

Anyone get any response from UIUC yet?

Yes I will be there. The visiting day happens to be in our spring break week, and I was planning to go to CA for spring break with my friends anyway, so it works out pretty nicely. (I am an international students studying in the U.S. for undergraduate.)

just got the email admiited the High Performance Structures program!!!!

yeah..I havent check their website recently. the email I got after they received all my application materials said that I will be notified of the descision no later than March 1st.. Maybe they figured they could not complete reviewing the material and postponed the date...

MIT MENG?..still waiting for a rejection then...

Also, anyone applied to the MENG program (high performance structures) of MIT? They said the result will be send out by March 1st but still haven't heard anything...

Congratulations! I also received an unofficial email earlier this week from a professor. (I applied for MS as well).. Still waiting for the official letter from the Graduate school office..
