  1. I think your GPA and GRE scores are good. I don't think you need to worry, especially because you applied to 4 different schools. Maybe try to find a one-on-one aide job or work as a SLPA and e-mail the school that you are working in the field and to please add it to your application. Also, meet with them in person (if you live close enough) and ask the coordinator how you stand. I did that because I was really worried and it helps them put a face with your name and shows you are really serious. I got accepted to the one school I applied to in California and my GRE score and GPA is very similar to yours. Good luck!
  2. Did you hear back from them? I heard from them yesterday evening and got in!
  3. Thank you. I just want to tell everyone don't be discouraged. I just got in a California school and my undergrad gpa is 3.2 in Business and CDS gpa is 3.7. My gre scores weren't great (145 V/150 Q, 4.0 ). My essay was well written. I also got my SLPA license and have been working as a sub SLPA since September. Don't think you need a perfect GPA and GRE score to be accepted. Just try your best. I worried soo much and lost so much sleep over-analyzing everything. It's okay to be human!
  4. Just found out this afternoon I got into CSUN Distance Learning 2013 Cohort 14. So excited!
  5. I applied to the CSUN Distance Learning Program for Spring 2013 as well. I am so anxious to hear back. I am not sure how hard it is to get in. I took their online SLPA program. Hopefully that will help.
  6. I applied to CSUN's online Master's SLP Program. I completed their SLPA program fall 2011. I am so nervous to find out if I get in or not. My CD gpa is a 3.72 and overall is a 3.33 I originally got my BS in Business - Marketing at CSULB). I was an athlete at CSULB as well (even though that probably means nothing). I also have been working as a sub SLPA since Sept this year. I took my GRE and not excited about my scores V- 145, Q- 150, writing 4.0. I had 0 hours of sleep the night before the test due to my anxiety. I met with the coordinator at CSUN and she said everything looks fine. But now I am second guessing everything and am so worried I will not get in. I got in their SLPA program no problem but I am not sure if that was very competitive or not.
