Hi, So I really want to attend Duke for my PhD (it's my first choice). But before I accept, I was wondering what the general opinion is on funding for BME at Duke? Do I need to worry about it with the sequester? Thanks!

Hi everyone, I'm applying to BME PhD programs and received an email directly from a professor regarding my application, saying he was interested and would like to discuss it. I was expecting a call or email from the department regarding interviews. Is this a normal occurrence in the application process? Thanks!
