I'm applying to PhD programs in neuroscience and cognitive/behavioral neuroscience in the fall. I have an undergraduate degree in social work/psychology, although recently I've been taking more hard science classes to strengthen my transcript. Do any of you know if it's preferable for neuro programs to have candidates take the general GRE or to do one of the subject tests, like biology or biochemistry?
