I have officially decided to attend Boston University in the Fall!

So it seems like a lot of us are deciding between Boston schools. How are you making your decision? I feel like I change my mind every day! And the accepted students days have just confused me more!

Just logged in and was accepted as well! Congrats everyone! For those who don't have a letter posted yet, if you look at the results page from last year it seems like they spread out the acceptances, so don't worry yet!

I emailed to ask when we will be hearing back and received this response: "Thank you for your interest in Teachers College! Admissions decisions are available in mid-March so it could be any day now. You will receive an email saying an admissions decision has been posted with directions on how to view that letter." Hope this helps! Good luck everyone!

Congrats to everyone who got into MGH! I had a missed call with no message from a number at MGH...did anyone else speak with them on the phone? There was no mention of a scholarship offer in my letter so I'm curious as to what it was about!

Just got the MGH email too...hoping it isn't bad news considering they called everyone they accepted last year! SO nervous now.

Just received an email acceptance from NYU! Good luck everyone, I'm sure more good news is coming!!

I was told a few weeks ago that they would be sending out decisions the first week of March, but then someone mentioned during interviews that it could be more like mid-March. Anyone have any clue how many people they ended up interviewing? I feel like the interviews were so relaxed that it would be hard for them to narrow the pool down further.

Don't stress about the interviews! I had mine today and it was extremely laid back and the interviewers were unbelievably nice. It felt more like a conversation than an interview and went by really, really fast. Very general questions all about you. Good luck everyone!

Did anyone by any chance ask what percentage of applicants were invited for interviews?

My interview will be Friday the 22nd at 8:10! YIKES. So early! Hopefully I'll be awake enough...haha

I received an email yesterday from GWU stating that my application has been sent to the department for review. For those of you who have heard back, how long after receiving this email did you receive a decision? Thanks!

I was in contact with BU this morning and they stated that "Students who will be invited for an interview will receive their invitations between February 12th and February 14th. Final letters will be mailed the first week in March." Hope this helps!

Thanks! Being able to submit and hear back early definitely took some pressure off, and it helped me get all of my application work done in November so I didn't procrastinate! Haha In terms of applying to programs other than Emerson, I'm really just looking for a change of pace. The undergrad program is amazing and I've heard nothing but great things about the graduate program, but I just want to change it up a bit if I have the opportunity. In my experience as an undergrad, the faculty is fantastic and you really become close with professors and advisors. The clinic on campus is really amazing also as a resource to both undergrad and graduate students. As an undergrad I was able to observe the graduate students while they were working with clients and they all seemed really confident in what they were doing, so that makes me think their experience in the grad program has been positive. My main concern in going to Emerson for grad school is that I'm really interested in the medical field more so than the school system, and in my opinion, Emerson is very biased towards school placements and working with children as opposed to experiencing the medical field. That is the main issue for me. In terms of Boston, there's no place I'd rather be. There are SO many great opportunities in both medical settings (MGH, Mass Eye and Ear, etc) and in school settings and you really have everything you could imagine available to you. Nope, no confirmation from BU either! I imagine we'll be hearing about interviews soon though!

I only heard back from UPitt and Rush after submitting through CSDCAS...never heard anything from MGH. It made me nervous but I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't receive any sort of confirmation!

I'm definitely going crazy checking the results...especially now that people have heard back from GW. So nervous.

BU is my top choice! SO nervous now...this wait is awful!
